ProNails is looking for a Nail Styling Trainer!

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Nail Styling Trainer, you are responsible for delivering professional trainings, workshops, and educational courses in nail care, nail styling, pedicure, and nail art. You will guide students throughout their learning journey, ensuring they are both theoretically and practically well-prepared to work successfully as professional nail stylists.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Didactic Responsibilities

Provide practical and theoretical lessons in hand and nail care, including semi-permanent nail polish, gel in pots, and BIAB techniques.
Teach and demonstrate the application of gel nails using forms and correct refill techniques.
Instruct in the safe and proper use of electric file (e-file) and manual filing techniques.
Conduct creative workshops in nail art, encouraging students to develop their artistic skills.
Deliver pedicure training (cosmetic foot care) and safe use of e-file techniques.
Knowledge of manicure treatments and basic dermatology is a plus.
Teach correct application of semi-permanent nail polish, both French and full-color finishes.
Prepare and update teaching materials and demonstrations.
Assess knowledge and practical skills, providing constructive feedback.
Guide, motivate, and individually follow up with students; report evaluations and exam results in each student's personal file.
Maintain clear and transparent communication with students and colleagues, both during and outside of classes.

Organizational & Commercial Responsibilities

Closely monitor student progress and report evaluations accurately and on time.
Support students in the shop after their training by providing product and application advice to foster their professional growth.
Upload teaching materials and presentations via the One Source platform and ensure you always have the latest didactic resources (guidelines and PowerPoints).
Maintain the classroom according to ProNails’ quality and image standards; keep it tidy, clean after lessons, and ensure a professional appearance.
Handle materials, machines, lamps, tables, tools, and products with care and teach students to do the same.
Actively contribute to the visibility of the training programs by creating inspiring content for social media (Instagram, TikTok).
Assist in developing new training modules or programs.
Potentially represent the training institute or brand at trade fairs and events.

REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrable experience as a nail stylist (minimum 2 years).
Possession of a recognized diploma or certificate in nail styling (ProNails certificate is a plus).
Preferably also certified in pedicure.
Experience in delivering training or workshops is an advantage.
Strong didactic skills and the ability to convey knowledge in an inspiring way.
Customer-oriented, communicative, presentable, and professional.
Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends when needed.
Willingness to conduct training at different locations.
Sufficient digital skills; able to work with online platforms like One Source.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION

You will work closely with the Cash & Carry colleagues (our physical store where professionals purchase products) and the sales team.
You report directly to the Commercial Academy Manager.
Your work may be based at a fixed location, hybrid, or across different sites depending on organizational needs. Flexibility to assist when colleagues are absent (due to illness or vacation) is appreciated.
