Tech Talk n°4 What is the difference between BFLEX and Colour Builder Base?
What is the biggest difference between BFLEX and other gels in a bottle?
BFLEX is more than just a Base & Builder Gel in a bottle!
The biggest difference between BFLEX and any other builder gel in a bottle on the market is the significant time-saving advantage.
BFLEX saves you time when applying a new set and during maintenance. BFLEX is not just a two-in-one, but a four-in-one flexible gel in a bottle. It combines the base, builder, nude tint, and gloss. This means you can apply BFLEX in fewer steps and it doesn’t require a separate gloss.
Currently available color-building base gels are specifically designed as a combined base and build phase for the nail. They are not suitable as a glossy finish, so professionals need to apply an additional layer of separate gloss and cure it as an extra step.
Unlike BFLEX gels, other gels do not have the same self-leveling features, which prolongs the build phase. BFLEX is an all-in-one product, a time-saving gel that requires fewer steps.
Since the product is self-leveling, filing is not necessary! You skip several steps, as the gloss is already integrated into the bottle.
BFLEX: self-levelling gel
The remarkable feature of BFLEX is its unique self-leveling property. As a trained nail technician, it’s incredibly satisfying to see the gel work its magic for you.
The primary task of the nail technician is to prepare the nail plate and watch as BFLEX performs its magic. Once it’s cured, you’re done! No filing, no gloss application—just wipe off and you’re ready.
Additionally, BFLEX is fully vegan and acid-free. This means the gel is effortlessly removed and the nail remains in a healthy, undamaged condition.
Moreover, many builder bases contain acids. These acid-containing builder bases create small holes in the nail plate to secure the gel. They are therefore more difficult and time-consuming to remove, and there is a risk of the nail plate becoming damaged and thinner over time rather than stronger.
BFLEX gel is easy to remove
What about removing other 'base/builder gels' in a bottle?
The builder base of the "Rubber Base" type is elastic, even rubber-like, which makes it difficult to remove with an electric file. This can be uncomfortable for the client, time-consuming for the nail professional, and it can damage the bits and handpiece of the nail machine. In contrast, BFLEX can be removed very easily and quickly!
