Tech Talk n°20 What are the advantages of a non-sticky colour gel?

What are the advantages of a non-sticky colour gel?

Discover all about this. Birgit explains it in this Tech Talk!

Do you know the problem? Contaminating your brush with sticky colour residue?

Yuck! Now What? Nothing much, the damage to your bottle is done.

  • If you are using a sticky gloss, like Sapphire Gloss, over a sticky colour layer, then the brush will pick up colour residue and accumulate in your bottle and influence the shine.
  • If you are using a non-sticky gloss, like Crystal Seal, over a sticky colour layer, it will contaminate your gloss over time and create little holes in you gloss layer.

As always, prevention is better than cure! So use a non-sticky colour gel like GELLAK to avoid contaminating your transparent gloss.

And if you want to work faster, use a one-layer non-sticky BCOLOUR and combine it with a transparent layer of BFLEX or BSTRONG CLEAR.

Another advantage of a non-sticky colour gel is that the top slides on very smoothly.
